Growing up in Santa Babara I was always aware of the Earth Day festival, but what I did not know was that the Community Environmental Council has been putting on the Santa Barbara annual Earth Day festival for 41 years! Every year they find a way to outdo the year before and this year will be no exception.
So many people have been hard at work creating this amazing experience to take place Saturday and Sunday, April 16th and 17th at Alameda Park in Santa Barbara. There will be everything from Alpacas to live bands to great food and everything in between. What better way to encourage our sustainable desires than to learn and explore all in one place with our fellow Santa Barbarians!
Check out this video below and be sure to come back for updates and news as we zero in on this adventure!
Disclaimer: I have been volunteering with the CEC for a couple months now and have become more inspired and enthusiastic about what we can do as a community and am honored to be a part of this event. So my opinion might be a bit, how shall I say… IN AWE OF HOW AWESOME IT WILL BE!!!
